The Art Gallery of Ontario has another great show opening soon - Revealing the Early Renaissance: Stories and Secrets in Early Florentine Art. This is 'The Crucifixion and The Lamentation' by an unknown artist from around 1340. It is tempera and gold leaf on a panel - and comes from the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.

This is one of the many photos I've taken at a range of exhibits over the years at the wonderful Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto.
This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
Be sure to say hi if you see me on the street!
