Chinese bowl characters

The first of three shots of an antique Chinese bowl we've had in the family for generations... If anyone can translate the character on the left please let me know!

This was shot with a second 50mm lens held backwards against the 50mm lens attached to the camera, hence the black circle around the edge.

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
