Lake Simcoe :: A large lake north of Toronto
We've spent a lot of time with our camera at cottages around Lake Simcoe. On the water windsurfing in the summer, or enjoying the snow and ice on the lake in the winter.

We have a few photos of the unexpected 1936 Thomas Foster memorial mausoleum just outside of Uxbridge. You can see how it was inspired by the Taj Mahal mixed with Byzantine Architecture. Thomas Foster was the 40th mayor of Toronto, from 1925 to 1927 and is buried in the mausoleum.
