Bye Hawk

I really try and get exercise when I'm out on my bike, but this hawk swooped down in front of me and landed not far from the bike path. I also happened to have my 300mm lens with me, and the bird was nice enough to wait while I changed lenses... Obviously a non-traditional wildlife angle, but look at those feet, not to mention the jewelry!

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
