seemsArtless - stay a while and enjoy the photos

A frank Santa

Frank (and his wife - not in the picture) are fixtures at Yonge and Eglinton; I bought a paper and he was more than happy to let me take pictures.

He is quite a character, but I was equally as interested in the reactions of the people he talked to. In this case the woman with the cane stopped and talked for a while (I forget if she bought a paper).

The thought of taking pictures of strangers is tough; trying it out I realized it's not so bad. Of course getting interesting pictures of people is the most difficult part of all.

about seemsArtless

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.

Be sure to say hi if you see me on the street!
Self portrait of me from a long time ago.
