China smile

It is almost Chinese New Years, so time to leave Napanee and head back to the south of China.

I like this picture because it was such a disappointment. Before I had my camera out this guy looked very tough, very cool, very aloof.

Needless to say I missed that moment -- missed that transformation on film -- but have this reminder of it, even if it is only the "after" shot.

about seemsArtless

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
