Ludlow Lion
An impressive crest on a newer building in Ludlow. A reverse Image Search indicates that it is Hosyers Almshouses, established 1463 by John Hosyer, and rebuilt in 1758. I was right about 'newer' at least.Located near St. Laurence's Church, these historic, red-brick buildings feature a distinctive pediment and, following a 1980s refurbishment, contain 15 flats and a common room for elderly residents.
