(Update: I will be posting some of his actual art here starting tomorrow, not to worry!) The 'El Anatsui: When I Last Wrote to You about Africa' exhibit at the ROM, running until February 2011, was excellent. A wide collection of his work is included, from traditional wood-carvings and paintings through to his more recent sculptures made from discarded bottle-caps and packaging. I highly recommend it. I posted a photo of one of his works, Zebra Crossing, back on November 26th, 2008 from the AGO.

This is just one of the many photos I've taken at the Royal Ontario Museum (The ROM). The building itself is wonderful, including the 1933 Rotunda and Venetian glass mosaic celiling, and has hosted a wide range of interesting exhibits.
This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
Be sure to say hi if you see me on the street!
