| (Update: I will be posting some of his actual art here starting tomorrow, not to worry!) The 'El Anatsui: When I Last Wrote to You about Africa' exhibit at the ROM, running until February 2011, was excellent. A wide collection of his work is included, from traditional wood-carvings and paintings through to his more recent sculptures made from discarded bottle-caps and packaging. I highly recommend it. I posted a photo of one of his works, Zebra Crossing, back on November 26th, 2008 from the AGO. | ||||||||||||
